If you are a bereaved parent, grandparent or adult sibling,
we extend our hands in friendship and our hearts in understanding and invite
you to join us at an upcoming monthly meeting.
Our members understand; we've all walked the same
path.
Save the date for the Worldwide Candle Lighting: December 14, 2025.
The second Sunday of December is designated for the Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting.
Please join all bereaved parents around the globe as we remember our children who have died, at any age and from any cause.

This is not like our regular sharing meeting. All family and friends, including children, are welcome.
Please bring a picture for the memory table - 5x7 or 8x10 is best.
We will start the program at 6:30, so please plan to get there around 6 o'clock.
After the program we will have time to visit with each other and share cake & punch. You can also bring a snack to share if you'd like.
- If you can't join us, please light your own candle at 7 pm, and imagine the wave of light circling the earth.

Monthly Group Meetings
The Bluegrass Chapter of The Compassionate Friends invites

- Lexington: We meet on the first Tuesday of the month from 6 to 7:30 pm.
We hold our TCF meetings at de Movellan Real Estate office. Please call Mary at 859-771-1511 if you have questions.
2025 meeting dates are:
Jan. 7, Feb. 4, March 4, April 1, May 6, June 3, July 1, Aug. 5, Sept. 2, Oct. 7, Nov. 4, and Dec. 2, 2025.
Starting with the July 1 meeting, our meeting location has changed to the Perimeter Drive location.

- Richmond:
Starting on Oct. 14, we will hold meetings in Richmond on the second Tuesday of the month from 6 to 7:30 pm.

Oct. 14, Nov. 11, and Dec. 9, 2025.

For local grief support options, contact Hospice East,

Grief counseling is available to anyone. (You do not need to have used Hospice care to access grief counseling.)
